Therapeutic indications: Short-term treatment of transient acute diarrhea in adults (from 15 years old). This treatment is a complement to dietary measures: read carefully “Precautions for use; special warnings” of the product manual that can be downloaded from this site. This product is a medicine. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking DIASTROLIB 2 mg, oral lyophilisate. Warnings : DO NOT LEAVE THIS MEDICINE WITHIN THE REACH OF CHILDREN. WARNING: you should not take this medicine: - in case of fever, vomiting, - if there is blood or mucus in the stool, - if your diarrhea occurs during antibiotic treatment (risk of severe damage to the colon). Take this product only for the use for which it is intended (see section 1 of the product leaflet downloadable from this site) and never take more than the recommended dose (see section 3 of the product leaflet downloadable from this site ). Serious heart problems (symptoms may include fast or irregular heartbeat) have been reported in patients who have taken too much loperamide, the active ingredient in DIASTROLIB 2 mg, oral lyophilisate. The use of this medication is not recommended in patients with galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome (rare hereditary diseases). The use of this medication is not recommended in patients with fructose intolerance (rare hereditary disease).
