Picot Picolite 10 Sachets of 20g
Diarrhea Oral rehydration solution Dietary food intended for special medical purposes, for the rehydration of infants and children suffering from diarrhea Picolite is intended to compensate, orally exclusively, for losses of water and electrolytes (mineral salts) due acute diarrhea in children and infants. It is recommended to begin the administration of picolite-type rehydration solution as soon as possible by presenting the child with moderate amounts of picolite as often as he wishes. The quantity to be given to your child is determined by your doctor according to: the age, the weight and the intensity of the dehydration of your child. In case of moderate dehydration (weight loss less than 5%), offer the child a ration between 100 to 150ml/kg/day. Half of this amount should be taken in the first 4 hours in divided doses every 30 minutes, with the remainders given in the remaining 20 hours every 2 to 3 hours. In case of vomiting, regularly offer baby picolite using a teaspoon (1 teaspoon every 1 to 2 minutes). In all cases, consult a doctor in the event of diarrhea in infants. Only he can adapt the nutritional intake to the specific needs of your child.
