Pharmacotherapeutic group: anti-inflammatory, antirheumatic, non-steroidal - ATC code: M01AE01. This medication contains a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory: ibuprofen. It is indicated, in adults (over 15 years): in long-term treatment of: o certain chronic inflammatory rheumatisms, o certain severe osteoarthritis; as a short-term treatment of: o certain inflammations around the joints (tendinitis, bursitis, acute painful shoulder), o acute osteoarthritis pain, o certain inflammations of the joints by deposit of crystals, such as gout, o acute lower back pain, o sharp pain related to irritation of a nerve, such as sciatica, o pain and edema related to trauma, o fever and/or pain such as headache, flu-like illness, dental pain, body aches, painful periods.
