Borax / boric acid Biogaran single-dose ophthalmic solution - 20 single-doses
The drug Biogaran borax / boric acid is a solution for ophthalmic washing. This medication is indicated for washing the eyes is, in case of eye irritation in adults and children. Capacity: 15 or 20 single doses In 1 ml of solution, there are 12 mg of Borax and 18 mg of boric acid. The other ingredients are sodium chloride, rose water concentrate, purified water. Dosage of Borax / Boric acid Biogaran ophthalmic solution: The usual dose is 1 to 3 eye washes per day, to be carried out by jet washing, avoiding contact of the single-dose container with the surface of the eye or the eyelids. The excess can be cleaned with a compress or absorbent cotton. A single dose can be used to wash both eyes but must be discarded after use. An opened single-dose container cannot be reused. If several eye drops are to be administered, wait 15 minutes between each instillation. After 2 days of treatment, medical advice is required. In case of excessive intake of Borax / Boric Acid Biogaran, rinse your eyes with sterile saline solution and inform your doctor or pharmacist immediately. Cons-indications of Borax / Boric acid Biogaran: In case of allergy to borax, boric acid or one of the other ingredients contained in this medication. Some precautions are necessary with the administration of Borax / Boric Acid. If symptoms persist after 2 days of treatment, or if new symptoms appear, discontinue use and consult a physician. This ophthalmic solution does not cure contact lens irritation. If you experience decreased vision, eye pain, and unusual eye symptoms, contact your doctor. Borax / Boric acid should be used with caution during pregnancy and lactation.
