Dosage of Betaselen capsules The dosage is 2 capsules per day, to be swallowed with a glass of water. The capsules are to be distributed in the morning and at noon. The duration of treatment should not exceed 1 month. In case of excessive intake of Betaselen , one can observe a weakening of the nails and hair, diarrhea, dermatitis, fatigue and gastrointestinal disorders. Betaselen contains ascorbic acid, so beware of overdose which can cause digestive disorders (gastric burns, diarrhoea), urinary disorders (cystine and uric oxalic lithiasis) or hemolysis in G6PD-deficient subjects. Betaselen contraindications In cases of allergy (hypersensitivity) to one of the constituents, Betaselen is contraindicated. Due to the presence of stimulating vitamin C, it is best not to take Betaselen at the end of the day. In case of pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is always recommended to seek the advice of your doctor or pharmacist before using any medication.
