It does not show any intolerance or allergy to topical drugs as long as it remains moderate. However, it is advisable to test individual sensitivity by preceding the start of treatment with a “test touch” (repeated applications on a small integumentary surface for 10 to 15 consecutive days). · If the irritation phenomena are bothersome, space out the applications and/or use a less concentrated form. If the bothersome irritation persists despite the precautions for use, treatment should be discontinued. To reduce these irritation phenomena: Do not apply to skin already irritated by prior treatments or suffering from solar erythema, Avoid, as a general rule, the concomitant use of other local keratolytic or detergent therapies, · Use a soft toilet bar (no more than two toilets per day), refrain from any cosmetic or other perfumed or alcoholic product, Do not expose yourself repeatedly to the sun and UV rays, · Particular caution is recommended for subjects with a light complexion and on certain more fragile integumentary areas (face, neck, décolleté, subclavicular hollow). Avoid contact with eyes and eyelids, mouth, nostrils and mucous membranes. In case of accidental application on the mucous membranes (eyes, mouth, nostrils) or on the eyelids, rinse very carefully with water. Due to the risk of sensitization, Curaspotaqua 5% should not be applied to damaged skin (wound, skin erosion or acute skin inflammation). Contact of Curaspotaqua 5% with colored material (such as hair and dyed fabrics) may cause it to bleach or discolor. Curaspotaqua can cause swelling of the skin and blisters.
