Ipraalox 20Mmg Box of 7 Tablets
IPRAALOX is used for the short-term treatment of symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (eg heartburn, acid regurgitation) in adults. Gastroesophageal reflux is the backflow of stomach acid into the esophagus, which can become inflamed and painful. This can cause symptoms such as a burning sensation in the chest rising to the throat (heartburn) and a sour taste in the mouth (acid regurgitation). Acid reflux and heartburn may disappear after one day of treatment with IPRAALOX. However, this medication is not intended to provide immediate relief. It may be necessary to continue treatment for 2 or 3 consecutive days for the improvement of symptoms. Warnings and Precautions Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking IPRAALOX if: you have taken continuous treatment for heartburn or indigestion for 4 weeks or more; you are over 55 years old and take an over-the-counter indigestion medicine every day; you are over 55 and have symptoms that are new or have recently changed; you have a history of gastric ulcer or undergone a stomach operation; you have liver problems or jaundice (jaundice, yellowing of the skin or eyes); · you see your doctor regularly because of a serious disorder or illness; · you need to do an endoscopy or a urea breath test. Consult your doctor immediately before or after taking IPRAALOX if you notice any of the following symptoms, which could be a sign of another more serious condition: unintentional weight loss (not related to diet or exercise program) vomiting, especially if repeated, vomiting blood, appearing as dark coffee beans blood in the stools, which may be black or tarry difficulty or pain in swallowing, paleness and weakness (anaemia) pain in the chest, · stomach ache, severe and/or persistent diarrhoea, as taking IPRAALOX has been associated with a slight increase in infectious diarrhoea. Your doctor may decide that you need to undergo additional tests. In the event of a blood test, tell your doctor that you are taking IPRAALOX. Acid reflux and heartburn may disappear after one day of treatment with IPRAALOX. However, this medication is not intended to provide immediate relief. You should not take it as a preventive measure. If you suffer from repeated and persistent heartburn or indigestion, regular medical monitoring is recommended.
