Mylan Advice Esomeprazole 20mg
ESOMEPRAZOLE MYLAN CONSEIL contains the active substance called esomeprazole. It belongs to a group of medicines called 'proton pump inhibitors'. They work by decreasing the amount of acid produced by the stomach. This medicine is used in adults for the short-term treatment of the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (eg heartburn and acid regurgitation). Gastroesophageal reflux is the backflow of stomach acid into the esophagus, which can become inflamed and painful. This can cause symptoms such as a painful sensation in the chest rising to the throat (heartburn) and a sour taste in the mouth (acid regurgitation). ESOMEPRAZOLE MYLAN CONSEIL is not intended to provide immediate relief. It may be necessary to continue treatment for 2 or 3 consecutive days before you notice an improvement in symptoms. You should talk to your doctor if you do not feel any improvement or if you feel less well after 14 days. Each capsule contains 20 mg of esomeprazole (as esomeprazole magnesium dihydrate).
