This medication is a mouthwash. It is recommended in the local adjunctive treatment of infections of the mouth or in care after surgery of the oral cavity. Prolonged use (more than 5 days) of this medication is undesirable because it can alter the natural microbial balance of the mouth and throat. This specialty contains terpene derivatives which can lead to excessive doses of neurological accidents such as convulsions in infants and children. Respect the recommended dosages and duration of treatment. Precautions for use If symptoms worsen or no improvement after 5 days: consult your doctor. In case of old or recent epilepsy, ask your doctor for advice. This medicine contains castor oil and may cause skin reactions (eg eczema).
