Pregnancy food supplement. Thanks to its specially designed formula, Gynéfam® SUPRA meets the specific needs of women throughout pregnancy. A daily intake of Gynéfam® SUPRA provides the body with vitamins, trace elements and minerals useful for the smooth running of pregnancy. GYNÉFAM® SUPRA CONTAINS: Vitamin B9 (or folic acid/folate): in an innovative form, Quatrefolic®. Quatrefolic® is the biologically active form of folic acid and provides adequate folate supplementation for more women. Folic acid supplementation increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status increases risk of developing neural tube defects in the developing fetus. The beneficial effect is obtained by the daily consumption of 400 μg of folic acid, one month before and up to three months after conception. Vitamin B12: Vitamin B12 participates in normal energy metabolism, the combination of vitamin B12 and vitamin B9 contribute to the normal metabolism of homocysteine.
